DIY Paraffin Wax Candle Kits - Recipe Steps
Cut & Melt Parafiin Slab
Cut Paraffin Wax Slab & Add into a Melting pot and keep it above a low heat. Stir the candle wax continuously until it turns completely liquid. The melting process should take 10-15 minutes around 185%. Don't let the wax boil.
Add Pigment Color
Add Colored pigment to the melted candle wax for desired color. Use a spatula to stir the melted candle wax until the colored tint is completely blended with the wax.
Add Fragrance Oils
Add 4 or 5 drops of your preferred Fragrance oil or required amount into the colored melted wax mixture. Mix the candle wax blend well. Remember, a little goes a long way with fragrance oils.
Prepare Candle Jar
Once the wax has completely melted, remove the pouring pot from the heat and allow it to cool for about 5 minutes. In the meantime, carefully place the cotton wick at the center of the glass jar to prepare for pouring the wax.
Pour into Candle Jar
Slowly pour the hot melted wax into the mason jar while carefully holding the wick in position. Make sure the wick remains centered and upright throughout the cooling and drying process for a perfectly finished candle.
Decorate Candle Glass Jar
Allow your candle to cool at room temperature for nearly four hours until the wax hardens completely. Once the candle is fully set, you can decorate the mason jar beautifully using jute thread and adhesive for an elegant handmade look.
